Mr. Muhammad Shahid from ASL Plastics in Karachi has spent about 35 years in injection molding and always preferred Japanese machines.

How Mr. Shahid Came to Tederic
For most of his career, Mr. Shahid worked on Japanese injection molding machines.
Then the operational scope of Japanese machinery in Pakistan began facing significant challenges because of electricity issues, and he started looking at other options.
He installed a machine, but even though he knew all the top brands, he felt he still had not found a fully satisfying solution.

Mr. Shahid gave his review in numbers and in plain words:
- Cycle time: About 9 seconds for the one-liter jar, and he is satisfied with it
- Mold: A single-cavity mold for now, since the machine is new. He plans to move to multi-cavity molds
- Clamping force: At first he thought it might be too high, but at normal settings the performance is still excellent
- Electricity: Compared with other Chinese brands, the machine consumes much less
- Output: Production exceeds what he saw from Japanese machines, even with normal operation

Mr. Shahid replied, “You are absolutely right. There is no doubt about that.”
The host added that this was not a planned or scripted review, and that he had not told Mr. Shahid what to say.
Mr. Shahid said, “I am giving you my honest review.”

Mr. Shahid says his experience has been very good. “Whenever I have faced a problem, it has been resolved within an hour or so,” he said.

Looking at the finished products, the host noted that many people say good-quality products cannot be made in Pakistan and should be imported.

He also explained what used to be missing.
“Previously, we did not have sufficient resources. We might have machinery but lack the necessary equipment. Even if we had the equipment, something else would be missing.”

His Suggestion and Rating
Asked for suggestions, he said everything is professional, and the overall experience has been excellent.
His only request is to continue this way and provide even more facilities and convenience to customers. That would help businesses as they compete better in the market and on the international stage.
