5G Healthcare Found Success with HiTech Machinery

Some decisions are not made in a boardroom. They are made on the production floor, under pressure, when everything needs to work and there is no room for excuses.

That is where HiTech Machinery has earned its reputation and that is exactly where Ali Hassan, Head of Technical Department at 5G Healthcare, found out what it means to have the right partner.

In this article, we are gonna open our story together further. So, keep reading.

How 5G Healthcare Got Started

5G Healthcare did not come into manufacturing without a foundation.

The company had already been running an import and distribution business for 30 to 40 years, supplying medical consumables across the market.

Medical Syringes

Syringes, IV sets, IV cannulas, needles, etc., these were not unfamiliar products. They had been selling them for decades.

What changed was Pakistan’s economic situation. As imports became harder and more expensive to sustain, the decision was made to shift towards local manufacturing.

The logic was straightforward: manufacture the same products they already knew, whose markets they already understood.

“We moved towards manufacturing the same products whose distribution, market, and usage we already knew very well,” Ali Hassan said.

By the time they set up their facility in Karachi, 5G Healthcare had been operating in medical devices manufacturing for close to 3 years.

Why 5G Healthcare Chose HiTech Machinery

When 5G Healthcare began setting up its molding department, the requirement was specific. Their products’ medical consumables demand multi-cavity, thin-wall molds.

That rules out a lot of suppliers.

To find the right machine, they spoke to people already running similar operations in the plastic industry, particularly those manufacturing pens or other thin-wall products.

A few names came up repeatedly. HiTech Machinery was one of them.

When they made contact, they were connected with Hammad and Khalid from HiTech’s team.

“Both of them were very cooperative. They supported us in every matter, and the support that an establishing industry requires was always made available to us by HiTech,” Ali Hassan said.

That experience shaped the rest of the relationship. The decision to go with HiTech was not just about the machine, it was about who was standing behind it.

Injection Molding at 5G Healthcare

2 Injection molding machines

The current 5G Healthcare manufacturing setup depends on two injection molding machines sourced from HiTech, a 188-ton and a 178-ton.

Beyond the machines themselves, the facility also runs HiTech auxiliaries including  air compressors, auto loaders, dryer hoppers, and crushers.

“If you go towards accessories and other machinery, there are quite a lot of things I have from HiTech’s side,” Ali Hassan noted.

The products coming off those machines go directly into the medical supply chain syringes, IV cannulas, needles, and other disposable consumables that end up in hospitals and clinics across Pakistan.

Machine Performance and Product Quality

Ali Hassan has worked with several international brands. Toshiba, Samsung, Hiten, he has run them all and knows where they fall short.

His observation is consistent across these brands: many state technical specifications that are achievable only under ideal conditions.

In a real production environment running at full speed, those numbers rarely hold.

With HiTech, that gap did not exist.

“Not only was what was promised delivered, but the machine’s capability is actually slightly above that because in ideal conditions you can stretch it a little more,” he said.

He went further, noting that even his own technical staff had doubts going in. They had told him the machines would not be able to handle certain requirements.

Those doubts did not survive contact with the production floor.

HiTech not only didn’t disappoint, it shook the very foundation of all those claims,” he said.

After-Sales Support and Technical Backup

With more than two hundred vendors on their books, the team at 5G Healthcare has seen every type of sales approach.

The one that tends to backfire most often is the over-push where a supplier keeps pressing for a decision instead of letting the buyer take their time.

HiTech does not operate that way.

“They give me all the required data and then they wait for me to make the decision,” Ali Hassan said.

On the technical side, the response has been just as consistent. Just before this conversation, 5G Healthcare had launched a new product on the line.

The machine was producing, but the cycle time was not where they needed it.

They are called HiTech.

Within one hour, a technical team was on-site. Parameters were corrected, the production staff received hands-on training, and the targets were met before the visit ended.

“Not only is their response time very good, but their staff’s technical capabilities are also very strong,” he said.

A Partnership Built on Real Results

5G Healthcare came into this with 3 to 4 decades of industry experience behind them.

They were not new to sourcing machinery, and they were not easily impressed.

What kept them coming back to HiTech was not the sales pitch.

It was the consistency machines that did what they were supposed to do, support that showed up when it was needed, and a team that treated the relationship as more than a transaction.

For a company building local medical device manufacturing in a difficult economic environment, that kind of partnership makes a real difference.

HiTech Machinery has been part of 5G Healthcare’s setup from the beginning, and the results on the production floor reflect that.
