Technokaf Company is a fresh yet purposeful name in Pakistan’s plastic manufacturing industry. Founded by Mr. Muhammad Kashif Chaudhry, a qualified Electrical Engineer with nearly 27 years of experience in the international oil field sector.
Technokaf was built on a clear vision to bring meaningful change to Pakistan’s manufacturing landscape. Since entering the industry around 2019–2020, the company has focused on producing quality electrical fittings for the construction sector.
We had the privilege of sitting down with Mr. Muhammad Kashif Chaudhry, CEO and Founder of Technokaf Company, joined by Mr. Shariyar, Sales Director at HiTech Machinery, at their facility, to hear their journey, the story behind choosing HiTech Machinery, and how the partnership has supported their growth from day one.
Why Technokaf Chose HiTech Machinery
Mr. Kashif discovered HiTech Machinery through web research. While exploring options for setting up his manufacturing unit, the phrase “turnkey solutions” on HiTech’s website immediately caught his attention.
As someone new to the plastic industry at the time, he reached out to understand what a turnkey solution truly meant.
“They said they will get your setup running from land,” he recalled.
That conversation led to a visit, and an empty plot gradually transformed into a fully functional production facility, designed and guided by HiTech Machinery’s team. He seemed quite impressed by our follow-up.
“They would call on weekends or come home prepared, showing what they had arranged according to your product,” Mr. Kashif shared.
Factory Setup & Products Manufactured
Technokaf currently operates two injection molding machines sourced from HiTech Machinery. One of them is a 128-ton machine, with the second unit also actively running in production.
Technokaf currently makes electrical conduit fittings, catering specifically to the construction industry, a sector with strong and consistent demand across Pakistan.
Technology & Performance Review
When asked about machine performance, Mr. Kashif was clear in his satisfaction. For him, a machine’s value is measured by two key parameters: production rate and power consumption, and HiTech’s machines have delivered on both.
Production is very good. I’m very satisfied,” he stated.
He also noted that finishing quality ultimately comes from the mold, and with the right setup in place, results have met expectations consistently. His engineering background has helped him evaluate and maximize machine performance from the start.
Importance of After-Sales Support
The CEO mentioned that HiTech Machinery’s after-sales service has been one of the most defining aspects of the partnership. They had faced two technical issues since installation, both resolved impressively fast.
The first was a power failure that brought both machines to a halt. The second was a software glitch. In both cases, HiTech’s technical team responded quickly. The software issue was resolved overnight through an online video call, while the power-related problem was fixed within a couple of hours with support from the Chinese technical team.
HiTech also ensures spare parts availability, so when a fault arises, clients don’t face prolonged downtime waiting for components.
Support Experience and Suggestion for HiTech
Mr. Kashif acknowledged that HiTech’s sales team has evolved over the past two years and remains professional overall. He specifically appreciated the next generation of sales inductees, praising their maturity and client-focused approach.
With firsthand experience as a new entrant, Mr. Kashif also shared two valuable suggestions for HiTech. First, he recommended offering business consultancy for beginners; many new clients need guidance beyond just machinery.
Second, he suggested extending support to raw material supply alongside machinery, which would make the overall setup process smoother for new manufacturers.
Advice for New Entrants in the Plastic Industry
“The industry’s heart is so big that it warmly welcomes new people. You should definitely come, but be prepared. Study first. If you go just by hearsay and do a hit and trial, chances of failure are high. Do your homework.”
He also emphasized that manufacturing is not for everyone, but for those with the right passion and aptitude, it is an incredibly rewarding field. His advice for machinery: go for new injection molding machines.
On Pakistan’s manufacturing future, Mr. Kashif is optimistic. He strongly supports the “Made in Pakistan” slogan. He believes the country holds tremendous potential in raw materials, the auto industry, and the plastic sector, much of it still untapped.
