After about 30 years in banking, including a role as head of operations, Madam Parsa left her career and started a plastics business in Hyderabad.
In Sindh, many people assume women should not lead industrial work.
Despite all those norms, she started anyway. And her business now runs injection molding machines and blow molding machines from HiTech Machinery.
In this article, we follow her journey from the bank to the factory floor.
So, keep reading.
How Madam Parsa Entered the Plastic Industry?
Madam Parsa, the owner and founder of Parsa Enterprises, spent around 30 years in the banking sector.
She worked with a microfinance institution that operated across Sindh and eventually became head of its entire operations.
Then she resigned.
The reason was practical: managing field operations meant constant travel.
Her next step came from family. Her younger brother was already working in the plastic industry, and she started her business on his advice.
The Fear Before the First Step
Before entering the industry, she says, it looked very difficult.
In society, there is an assumption that women should not take on industrial work, and the idea of a woman leading an industry made her apprehensive.
After she joined, her view changed:
- Nothing is impossible if you have passion and real interest in your work
- She found a cooperative team and stakeholders who supported her
- The environment was supportive, especially for managing the business and making improvements
How the Partnership with HiTech Machinery Began?
The connection came through her brother, who had already bought blow molding machines from HiTech Machinery. He had a relationship with the team, including Khalid Bhai and Fiaz.
Madam Parsa received the same coordination and support.
In her words, the team has helped through “a very cooperative approach and a supportive mechanism.”
Today Parsa Enterprises runs:

- Two injection molding machines from HiTech, bought in 2025 (one delivered around May or June, the other in August)
- One blow molding machine from HiTech
Both injection machines make preforms for the Hyderabad market.
Parsa Enterprises sells some preforms directly and blow-molds the rest into bottles to sell.
After-Sales Support from HiTech Machinery
Madam Parsa calls her journey with HiTech “excellent.”
What she values most is that support continues after installation.
- Technical issues can be handled over the phone and online
- If the team needs physical help, HiTech technicians visit
- Her team can call whenever assistance is needed
“This is one of the biggest challenges in the industry: after-sales service is often difficult to obtain,” she said. It is also why her next purchase, whether a blow molding or injection molding machine, will be an easier decision.
The first thing that comes to mind is that she will receive after-sales service and support.

Importing from China: What She Learned
Some people believe they can import machines directly from China, save money, and avoid the middleman. Madam Parsa has tried both routes.
She bought two new machines through HiTech and one used machine from China through an individual.
The used machine showed the problem:
- Once it was delivered, the supplier had no further involvement
- For installation help and technical issues, her team had to search the market for people to help
- Those people help when they have time, but they are not responsible for timely service
“Importing directly from China is certainly possible,” she said. “However, the real benefit is questionable when you consider what happens afterward.”
These are technical machines, and her team does not have highly technical staff to handle every issue.
Why She Recommends HiTech Machinery
Asked whether people entering or growing in the plastic industry should contact HiTech without hesitation, she said yes.
Whether you need an injection molding machine, a blow molding machine, a cap compression molding machine, or another type, you can buy it from HiTech Machinery.
She gave four reasons:
- Equipment is delivered on time
- Team provides complete support and facilitation
- You can contact the team whenever a technical issue comes up
- You get quality equipment from an established company
“It is not just an individual; it is a company,” she said.
She also found the sales and technical teams professional every time she contacted them.
A Founder Who Thinks Ahead
Madam Parsa has also met HiTech’s CEO and Founder, Mr. Habib-ur-Rehman. He spoke with her, offered advice, and told his team to support her beyond what she expected.
“You may not find this everywhere,” she said.
She describes him as committed. He wants to work and make progress, and his professional, supportive behavior impressed her. She also values his vision: he thinks about where the industry will be 10 or 15 years from now and what it will need.
“If you sit in the present without thinking about the future, you will not be able to survive in the industry,” she said.
Her Rating of HiTech Machinery
Madam Parsa did not give HiTech a 9 out of 10.
“I would keep one mark reserved for now,” she said.
The host summed it up: she will buy another machine, see the results, and then award that last mark.
She agreed.
Made in Pakistan and Her Suggestion for HiTech
She supports local manufacturing.
Imports may bring quality products, but the time they take can affect a business. If products can be made locally at the required quality, it is better for everyone.
Her suggestion for HiTech follows from this.
Businesses still depend on imports because people do not yet fully trust local products and services. If a local company earns that trust, customers will prefer to buy locally, because service becomes faster.
She suggests HiTech develop and manufacture more machinery locally.
In her words, customers should not have to wait three or six months for delivery.
Her Message to Women Who Want to Start
The host asked what she would say to women watching from home. Her answer:
- “Life is full of challenges. Living itself is a challenge,” but that is no reason to stop.
- With courage, a clear vision, and the right intention, “everything is possible.”
- The fears we have outside the industry change once we enter, because people are working everywhere, just like us.
- A woman who is confident, transparent in her dealings, and clear about her goals can succeed in any field.
- Choose a field where you feel comfortable and confident, and take on a challenge. Cooking is important too, but it is also important to do something beyond that.
