Laser Marking Technology

Laser marking machines use intense, concentrated light beams that create permanent marks through precise heat application on any solid surface: metals, organic materials, plastics, packaging, and more.

Different laser technologies are selected based on the material type and application requirements. Fiber lasers with a 1060nm wavelength are suitable for metallic and plastic surfaces. CO2 lasers at 10,600nm wavelength work perfectly for organic materials, and UV lasers at 355nm wavelength are ideal for heat-sensitive materials.

Fiber & CO2 Laser Marking

Unbeatable Flexibility

Our marking lasers have independently adjustable parameters. You can change pulse frequency or energy settings as needed.  With this flexibility, you can achieve the desired marking effects while conserving energy.

High Accuracy

Our laser markers use a dynamic magnetic galvanometer motor. This ensures excellent stability and high positioning accuracy.  With an engraving speed surpassing competitors, our machines offer the most efficient production and the highest throughput with impeccable quality.

Faster and Efficient

We use geometric optics for faster autofocus performance. The system emits a short light burst towards the sensor. It measures the time to reach the target and return. This ensures swift labeling and error avoidance. Our autofocus speed is proven faster through different contrast tests.

Uncompromised Eye Protection

Our fully enclosed protective cover reduces the risk of visual impairment, as it is made of durable material and utilizes patented technology. In addition, they feature intelligent control functions that not only enable accurate aiming but also improve user safety by reducing glare and controlling laser volume.

Fiber Laser Marking Machine

Our Fiber Laser Marking Machine Series is the ultimate solution for etching and marking most bare metals and plastics. You can easily set up your job by printing directly to the laser printing machine from any graphic software program and even batch engrave an entire table full of products at one time.

Features of Our Fiber Laser Marking Machine

  • Wide material compatibility: steel, titanium, aluminum, copper, ceramics, and some plastics.
  • Long laser life of 100,000 hours
  • Small 19″ rack mount footprint for easy integration with other equipment and assembly lines.
  • 110mm square mark field with other sizes available.
  • No consumables, and minimal maintenance.
  • An integrated safety shutter for added safety.

Fiber Laser Printers

Discover the latest models of the F SERIES fiber laser printing machine, available in 10W, 20W, and 30W power options, designed for precise laser marking on metal & plastics.

CO2 Laser Printer Machines

The CO2 laser printing machine use gaseous mixture as a gain medium, with an output laser that’s great for marking organic materials like wood, plastic, and glass. It’s controlled by software on a PC, and the laser beam is directed by a scan head to create the desired markings.

Features of our C02 Laser Marking machine

  • Supports all characters, numbers, codes & graphics.
  • Supports a variety of file formats.
  • High-precision marking up to 2 mm deep.
  • Superb quality glass laser tube.
  • The glass laser tube is easily replaceable.
  • Efficient water cooling system.
  • High-speed flow pump for working stability.
  • Aluminum alloy lifting work table for safety.

CO2 Laser Printing Machine

We have 10W, 20W, and 30W versions of our cutting-edge C SERIES CO2 laser printing machine available. These printers produce excellent, long-lasting results when used for accurate marking and engraving on a variety of plastic and organic materials.

FAQs

What type of laser marking machines are available at HiTech Machinery?

We offer three types of laser marking machines: Fiber lasers for metals and hard plastics, CO2 lasers for organic materials like wood, leather, glass, and paper, and UV lasers for heat-sensitive materials, as used in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

What is the difference between fiber and CO2 lasers?

The major difference is in the laser source and wavelength. Fiber lasers operate at around 1,064 nm wavelength, which is suited for metals and hard plastics. CO2 lasers operate at 10,600 nm wavelength, which is better suited for organic materials like wood, leather, glass, paper, and certain plastics.

Is laser printing the same as laser marking?

Since laser marking essentially adds text, logos, or branding to a range of materials, it is referred to as “laser printing” in layman’s terms. However, laser printers are a different technology; they’re the desktop paper printers we commonly use in offices.

Can these laser marking machines create barcodes and QR codes?

Yes. Our laser marking machines can easily create barcodes, QR codes, and serial numbers with high precision and clarity

On what materials can I print(mark) with these laser marking machines?

Laser marking is one of the fastest-deployed technologies for labelling industrial and consumer products. With laser marking, you can mark on metals (steel, aluminum, titanium, gold), plastics (ABS, polycarbonate, PVC), wood, leather, glass, ceramics, rubber, anodized aluminum, coated metals, and various packaging materials.

What is the price of a laser marking machine?

The price depends on the type and power (wattage) of the machine. Our laser marking machines typically range from $4000 to $5000, with variations based on specifications, marking area size, and additional features.

What is the marking depth of your laser marking machines?

Our laser marking machines achieve marking depths of around <0.4mm, which is ideal for most industrial and commercial applications.

What’s the difference between laser engraving and laser marking?

In principle, they’re the same technology using laser beams to alter materials. The main difference is depth: laser marking creates surface-level marks with minimal depth, while laser engraving removes more material to create deeper, more pronounced patterns. In industry, the terms are commonly used interchangeably, though there’s a technical difference.
